"Best Friends" - Kedy, Shadow and Katherine | ![]() Shadow (age 4) & Kedy We are very sad to learn that Shadow passed away on May 22, 2009, at the ripe old age of 15. We couldn't have asked for a more loving or devoted family than Gene, Katie & Kedy.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JANICE & BOOBOO!!!
After attending a 4-week class (their very first obedience class together), BooBoo successfully
earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title, with Janice on the end of his lead. He now has a title on each end of his name, and
we couldn't be prouder!!! At the 2000 WGSDCII National Specialty, BooBoo (again handled by Janice) passed his temperament test given by
the American Temperament Test Society and was awarded his T.T. title.

Vantasia Xpect the Best Uv Vantasia, HIC, RX, HOF (OFA) ("Bianca"). On Sunday, Janice Swanner, handling WGSDCII CH. Vantasia Xpect the Unxpected, CGC, TT (OFA) ("BooBoo"), took Best Junior honors from the Novice (14-18 years) Class. FOR THE FIFTH STRAIGHT YEAR, KATHERINE SWANNER IS BEST JUNIOR HANDLER AT THE WGSDCII™ 2006 NATIONAL SPECIALTY AND JUNIOR HANDLER OF THE YEAR!!! THIS WILL BE KATHERINE'S LAST YEAR COMPETING AS A JUNIOR--IT'S BEEN QUITE A RUN.
At the White German Shepherd Dog Club International, Inc.™ National Specialty Show Weekend held in Cottonwood, Arizona, Katherine, competing in the Open Senior (14-18 years) Class, was Best Junior Handler at the Oklahoma Chapter Show, the Texas Metro Chapter Show and at the National Specialty, and was also awarded Top Junior Handler of the Year!
Competing at the National Specialty, BooBoo (at 11-1/2 years of age) was awarded BOS in Veteran Sweepstakes (defeating his half-brother, multiple Best of Breed and National Specialty winner, Durango), BOS in Specialty, Select 2 Dog, top Stud Dog and winner of the first Lobo Award for the oldest male white German Shepherd shown at the specialty show.
Also competing at the National Specialty and handled by Katherine, Terror's Paws Inn Baer Cub
was Reserve Winners Dog and Select 3 Dog.

Terror's Paws Inn Baer Cub, TDI, CGC (now ALTERED CH Terror's Paws Inn Baer Cub, TDI, CGC) finished his Altered Championship and was Best Altered and Best Veteran in Sweepstakes.
Competing in her first National Specialty show, Terror's Peterbuilt Bobby was Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5 point major from the 9-12 month puppy class. Bobby turned 9 months old the day before the show.
